Sustainability

Our planet is starting to soak up the rewards of some wonderful schemes created to reduce our emissions. We still need a globally coordinated response but small choices still matter. That’s why we have given ours a lot of thought. Here’s what we are doing from the start as a new local business.

Our planet is starting to soak up the rewards of some wonderful schemes created to reduce our emissions. We still need a globally coordinated response but small choices still matter. That’s why we have given ours a lot of thought. Here’s what we are doing from the start as a new local business.

1

Plastic Free

We don’t use plastic in our packaging. Nada. Not one bit.

We’ve also sourced our materials from companies that are big on ethical practice.

2

Especially For You

Our choice of business model is a little bit different to your traditional florist. We only order flowers that you have already purchased which means no waste, fresher flowers and all at a fraction of the price florists offer.

A winning sustainable and affordable combination!

3

Our Footprint

Where we can, we will deliver your flowers in an environmentally friendly way with the aim to make this the only way, all of the time.

We would love your help too...

Bloom Boxes

If you can’t think of a use for your empty box and you subscribe to bloom, we can collect your box from you when we deliver your next bunch of subscription flowers. Or, if you aren’t in, please leave your empty box somewhere dry and easy to collect.

We also have a few suggestions on how to reuse your box. Head over to our blog pages for some inspiration!

Back to the Earth

We beg you not to throw your old blooms in the bin. Composting or a green waste bin is the kindest way to dispose of your flowers. But there are also ways your flowers can live on.

Perhaps they can become a floral wall hanging? Or even a scented room spray? We also have some ideas for arts and crafts with the kids. You can find these creations on our blog.

THANK YOU!
